β οΈ Important Syllabus Update (2026β2028)
For the 2026β2028 syllabus series, candidates must follow the Cambridge pseudocode standard (Section 4 of the syllabus) when writing algorithmic solutions in Paper 2. Solutions written in programming code (other than the 15βmark scenario question) will not be awarded marks. The 15βmark scenario question in Paper 2 may be answered using pseudocode or one of the following languages:
All other solutions must be written in pseudocode following the exact format shown in the syllabus. The syllabus update also introduces new content such as robotics and artificial intelligence in the emerging technologies section.
